Mission 2
- Early in level 2, a lot of paratroopers drop down on you. To get through this safely, remember this: It is more important to survive than to shoot them all. Just be careful to dodge their bullets and shoot when you have a clear shot. It might help to not take the fire-shot power-up.
- A little trick to enhance your ammo: use the incredibly powerful shotgun to kill the big train/cannon-thing. Activate the hostage for the heavy machine gun, when you're out of shotgun ammo.
- Warning: Annoying dude #1! This guy is dangerous. Kill him before he is activated!
- Warning: Annoying dude #2! This guy is absolutely lethal if you don't kill him immediately. Run up the steps, jump and shoot him, and avoid his bomb and the grenade thrown by his friend.
- The final boss isn't too difficult, if you use a few tricks. When the plane launches rockets, stay directly below it, and when the rocket is fired, go in the opposite direction, of course shooting it all the time. When the plane is low, use the cannon or your grenades to the max, thus shortening the fight considerably. Don't be too afraid to get hit, when using the tank. When the plane throws bombs, stay at the right side and dodge any incoming bombs.
Level 3
The beginning of level 3 is a bit tricky. Here's a few tricks, that might help:
- At this spot, you should stay to the left and jump up. As soon as the soldiers come into the screen from the right, fire at them. The bazooka-soldier will die, and you can "fix" the other one with a grenade.
- The guys with the rolling bombs are easy. Just stay to the left and jump and shoot at them, until they are all gone.
- To get past the snowball soldiers, either go immediately or wait until a fast one rolls the snowball over another soldier. Then jump over the snowballs and unto the platform above.
- The boss at the top of the mountain is pretty hard if you just go into head-on battle with him. Fortunately, there's a trick:
There is a safe spot marked with a yellow arrow at the screenshot below where, if you place yourself there at the beginning, the boss will not hit you with his grenades. Wait until he jumps over to the right platform, and throw 4 grenades at him. He will jump to the left platform again, and you can just repeat the trick until he is dead. If you run out of grenades, or he should jump down from the platform, you should either place yourself directly below him and fire upwards continously. Or, if he is on the ground, you can jump and shoot at him. Just avoid his diagonal fire.
- A bit later, you encounter 3 tanks in a row. Hide behind the toilet and shoot with the shotgun. As soon as the tank breaks down, jump over and shoot the soldier that emerges (he tries to fire a rocket at you). Crouch down again and take out the other tanks, and watch out for the soldiers inside.
- The final boss seems pretty easy compared to the dude in the middle of the level. Just mind the big gun, it charges and fires pretty fast, and just throw tons of grenades at it.
